Aubrey O'Day - Automatic (Single Cover + Song)

April 05, 2011

Ex-Danity Kane member, Aubrey O'Day, has revealed the official cover artwork for her first solo single "Automatic" via her Twitter account. The single will finally be released to iTunes April 12th even though it's been floating around online for months now. Auberella has just recently been signed to Universal, (thank God!) at just the right time. Since premiering her new reality show "All About Aubrey" on Oxygen a few short weeks ago, more people have gotten to watch her solo musical ventures along with clips of her performing "Automatic". I honestly cannot get enough of this bitch, I've always loved her ever since seeing her on Making The Band and now watching her reality show, I love her even more! She's wild, hilarious and doesn't hold back anything she has to say. The track is great and once I get an HQ version of it, it will definitely be on repeat.

David Guetta feat. Flo-Rida & Nicki Minaj - Where Dem Girls At?

French DJ, David Guetta, is back after milking the shit out of "One Love". Guetta has been hard at work on his new album coming out this summer, and says it will have a new sound inspired by rock bands such as Kings of Leon and Coldplay. Enlisting rent-a-rapper Flo-Rida and the new queen of rap, Nicki Minaj, the track is easily another club banger.

Kelly Rowland (feat. Lil' Wayne) - Motivation (Video Premiere)

April 04, 2011

Kelandria Rowlegend as I like to call her, premiered the video for her new single "Motivation" featuring rapper Lil' Wayne on BET's 106 & Park today. The track will be digitally released on April 12th.
Watch K-Row strut her shit and pop her pussy to this feel-good R&B jam. As much as I love her dance music more, she can still put out a hot R&B track. This video kind of makes me wanna fuck make sweet love.

Natalia Kills - Wonderland (Director's Cut)

A few days after releasing her official "Wonderland" music video, Natalia Kills has given us what we've all been waiting for. The director's cut and uncensored version of the video has definitely got the perfect ending. The queen of dark-pop does it again. Fierce and flawless is all I have to say.

Check it out below and let me know what you think!

Take me to Wonderland...

Imogen Heap - Lifeline (Video Premiere)

The amazingly talented Imogen Heap premiered the video for her new song "Lifeline" today. Immi announced in January that she had plans to create a crowd-sourced song by asking fans to upload music or sound clips which she would then piece together with lyrics she had written based on ideas or words submitted by fans. The concept for her upcoming record is to record one track over a period of several weeks every 3 months over the course of roughly three years. Each song will be released immediately.

Jordin Sparks - The World I Knew (Video Premiere)

Newly slim and fabulous American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, has lent her voice to yet another Disney movie. This time serving for the theme song to Disney's "African Cats" open in theatres on April 22nd.

Jordin has been working on her fitness in preparation for her upcoming third album. Looking forward to the new look and apparent new dance-y sound. I love both of her previous albums, so I'm hopeful this next one does not disappoint.

Britney Spears: I am the Femme Fatale

If you weren't watching last nights Country Music Awards, you may have been tuned in to watch Britney's new TV special "Britney Spears: I am the Femme Fatale" on MTV. The mini-documentary gives us a little glimpse as to what The Holy Spearit has been preparing for us with her new album and upcoming tour.

The album sounds great, but word on the street is that it will debut with the lowest first-week sales of any Britney album. To be quite honest, her performance quality has gone to shit and she looks haggard as all hell. Not to mention her voice has seemingly gotten deeper. I'm done trying to figure out what happened to our good ol' BritBrit. Let's just focus on the music. At least we still have that! She is a pop icon and that she will remain. She is after all, Britney Spears... bitch!

Rihanna performs "California King Bed" at the Country Music Awards

Rihanna took to the stage this past Sunday night at the Country Music Awards for her first live performance of her new single "California King Bed". Joining her for a little country-twang was Sugarland front-woman Jennifer Nettles. Princess RiRi came out debuting yet another weave hair change and looked stunning as usual. I'm not quite sure how she even landed a gig at a country awards show but we've all seen how easily she can do other musical genres, tackling pretty much every one of them out there. Jennifer Nettles drowns her out a little bit when she comes out, but it's not long until Rihallah stands her ground and belts out the perfect notes. She gets the occasional backlash for her voice for some live performances but it's safe to say she pretty much killed this one.

Introducing: Fanfair

April 03, 2011

Fanfair is the newest girl group to come out of the UK. The group comprises of four girls (Jessica, Aimee, Anara & Roberta) in their twenties from all over the UK and Ireland. None of these girls are really new to the scene, but they've all come together in search of musical success.
Roberta first graced our screens in the live finals of the very first series of ‘The X Factor".
Anara is a hugely in demand model who has appeared in campaigns for Levis, Head & Shoulders and Tresemme.
Jessica spent her younger years making a name for herself in theatre, starring in lead roles in ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Chicago’.
Aimee is best known for going head to head with Cheryl Tweedy back in 2002 when she just missed out on a place in Girls Aloud in ‘Popstars The Rivals’. She then formed the band Clea, having three UK hit singles. When the band split, she became a successful model.

Check out their debut single "Vaccine" below.

Introducing: Kristina Maria

So after seeing this chicks video, I just HAD to talk about it. Her song has been playing on the radio here in Canada for some time now and if you didn't know it by now, I love me some trashy pop!

21-year old Kristina Maria is a Lebanese singer, born and raised in Ottawa. Her latest single "Let's Play" is another radio-friendly pop tune that is bound to get your body moving.

Now, the video. This tricky bitch has you thinking she's a giant whore with her misconstrued lyrics about wrestling her and playing with all her toys, when in reality she's really just inviting two of her male friends to come over and have a 3some play on their Nintendo DS's. I mean, I always invite my friends over to my hotel room to have an orgy play some DS, shirtless of course. Let's get real...

Chipmunk feat. Keri Hilson - In The Air (Video Premiere)

Keri Hilson decided to change up her hair yet again and manages to channel her inner Porcelain Black, lending her bad bitch swag to U.K. rapper Chipmunk’s new single In the Air from his sophomore album Transition, due overseas April 18.

Natalia Kills - Artist of the Month

So it is only fitting that this be my first actual music post. She is the inspiration for this months theme and Artist of the Month.

Natalia Kills is a British recording artist and songwriter who has completely taken over my life. Her album Perfectionist has finally been officially released, but only in Germany and Poland for now. She refers to her sound as dark-pop, and you can tell why by just listening to a track or two. Perfectionist is exactly that - perfect! Definitely something to check out when it is released in North America, unless you download everything illegally like myself. But even still, I will definitely be buying her debut album when it's out over here.

The censored version of her second single Wonderland was released yesterday, and let's just say, fairy tales don't always have a happy ending.

Check it out after the cut.
