Kathy Beth Terry Katy Perry is sure to have her 5th number 1 single with her next release "Last Friday Night", and with a video like this she's sure to get a lot of attention. Like who else would go out and get Rebecca Black to be in their video? Whoever thought of that is a genius. They must have known Katy likes getting down on Friday. The video also includes appearances by Kevin McHale from Glee, Hanson, Kenny G, Corey Feldman and Debbie Gibson. Katy must be trying to snatch Gaga's wig with this 8 minute long video. Katy Perry performs "E.T." on American Idol

Katy Perry was on American Idol tonight to perform her 4th #1 hit, "E.T." with the unnecessary help of Mr. Douchebag himself, Kanye West. It was a pretty awesome performance for a small stage, what with her flashing intergalactic bodysuit and her bone-breaking back-up dancers. She also sounded great. Better than usual, which leads me to think she may have been singing over a pre-recorded live backing track, but know knows. She usually sings everything live, so let's just go with that.
In other Katy news, "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" is set to be her next single lifted from Teenage Dream. This is probably the best choice, and one of my favourite songs on the album. Very radio-friendly (as if we haven't heard enough of her on the radio every 5 seconds) and a possible 5th #1 song. This bitch is on a roll! We'll see how she does soon enough.
