Lady Gaga performs on Oprah

May 06, 2011

Our Artist Of The Month shows no sign of slowing down any time soon. Having just released the video for her new single "Judas", Gaga took to the Oprah Winfrey Show to perform a more stripped down version of "Born This Way" and album cut "You & I", while taking a page out of her visit to Ellen and performing on a giant shoe. She really shines when you give her a piano and just let her belt out stripped down versions of her songs. A true performer.

Nicki Minaj - Super Bass (Video Premiere)

May 05, 2011

Her Minajesty has finally unveiled the video for "Super Bass" after being pushed back last week. The song was given the single treatment after videos of people rapping along to the lyrics became viral hits online, mainly Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez. The video is very colourful and super cute. Nicki even busts out some moves and does some choreography with her pink wigged girls. Bad bitch is flawless. From her eyes to her skin, her smile, even her tits and ass! A goddess. She's it's too adorable for words, even when she's giving us her weird glow in the dark faces at the end. Enjoy!

Jordin Sparks - I Am Woman

The now slim and fabulous American Idol winnner, Jordin Sparks, is back with her first single "I Am Woman" off her upcoming 3rd album. It's another female empowering anthem produced by Ryan Tedder, which means I will be blasting it and strutting my shit around my house while no one is watching, even though I am not female. I have loved both her previous albums, as they are full of perfectly perfected pop gems. Check out her new track below.

Lady Gaga - Judas (Video Premiere)

I have literally waited all day to get home and watch this. Lady Gaga has officially released the music video for her 2nd single "Judas". The video basically portrays a modernized Jesus and his disciples as a biker gang, while Gaga plays Mary Magdalene who is emotionally involved with Jesus but also has unforbidden feelings for Judas. Back in the day this was obviously sinful, so bitches would get stoned to death for being whores. Which is exactly what happens to Godga at the end, after declaring her love for Judas when she fails to eliminate him in the gun scene. It's a great dance video but nothing as over the top as I was expecting. I thought the concept would get more of the focus instead of the choreography. It's really not as controversial as everyone thought it would be. Also, next time please cast hotter guys. Thanks.

Frankmusik feat. Far East Movement - Do It In The AM (Video Premiere)

May 04, 2011

Signed with Cherrytree Records, British electropop artist Frankmusik has release the video for his first album single "Do It In The AM" featuring label mates Far East Movement. The song pretty much explains the video. It's basically every one of my Saturday nights a never-ending party. The album is scheduled for release in September and there's one track on it featuring the amazing Natalia Kills, which I need to hear as soon as possible! Enjoy the video below.

Simple Plan feat. Natasha Bedingfield - Jet Lag (Video Premiere)

Simple Plan have been working on their new album "Get Your Heart On", due out June 21st. Our fellow Canadians just released their music video for "Jet Lag" featuring Natasha Bedingfield. I was very surprised when I heard they were doing a song together. It's a weird combination, but it totally works. Looks like the video was shot in Toronto Pearson Airport too! Pierre remains cute as shit. Check it out.

Nicole Scherzinger - Right There (Video Premiere)

Yes! It's finally here! Nicole Scherzinger has released the video for her new single "Right There". I'm assuming there may be another version of the video seeing as there were pictures taken and tweets sent from her on set with 50 Cent. So far the video is of the original track without him. But who cares! It's all about her. Nikki channels her inner Pocahontas, delivering a great Hawaiian feel and choreography. I even spotted Kim Gingras from So You Think You Can Dance Canada as one of her backup dancers. Check it out! It's everything J.Lo's new single and video wish they could be.

UPDATED: Added 2nd version of the video with 50 Cent below.

Panic! At The Disco - Ready To Go (Video Premiere)

May 02, 2011

The now two-piece band, Panic! At The Disco have released the video for their second single "Ready To Go" off their new album "Vices & Virtues". Catchy song as usual. It's always stood out to me when I hear their album shuffle through my iPod. Check out the fun and theatrical music video below. Also, Brendon is so cute... Sometimes. Enjoy!

Jennifer Lopez feat. Lil' Wayne - I'm Into You (Video Premiere)

Jennnifer Lopez officially releases her new album "Love?" tomorrow and here we finally have the visual for her second single "I'm Into You". First of all, I thought she wanted to stop being called J.Lo. Second, at least she chose one of the only original songs left on her album. Third, how the hell does she still look like she did 10 years ago? Anyway, it's a hot track, I'll admit that, but I much prefer Nicole Scherzinger's "Right There". They both pretty much have the same feel, but I'm sure J.Lo will get another hit and Nikki will flop as expected. Girl can't catch a break. Also, hello dance break! I live for music video dance breaks. Wasn't that crazy, but it was pretty exciting to hear her throw "Papi" in there. Enjoy watching J.Lo looking gorgeous as usual, and canoodling with my future man on a beach.

Nicole Scherzinger feat. 50 Cent - Right There

May 01, 2011

Nicole Scherzinger has recently been spotted filming the music video for her first U.S. single "Right There" featuring rapper 50 Cent. It's been over a month since Nicole's released her debut album "Killer Love" in the UK where she has been more successful. Now she's ready to try the U.S. again with an alternate version of the album, due out this summer. "Right There" has a good sexy summer feel to it and is basically the same version but with a few verses from 50 Cent. I guess since he's back on the charts, her and her team decided to get a feature on the track to help her out. She hasn't had any luck whatsoever with her solo material in the states, so hopefully this gets her a hit. The album actually has a lot of good tracks on it, up until half way through, then it's all kind of boring ballads. We'll see how she changes it up for the U.S. release of "Killer Love". The single is set to hit iTunes on May 17th. It's a hot track but I think she should have gone with maybe "Wet" or "Don't Hold Your Breath". Check it out and love it!

Swizz Beatz feat Eve - Everyday (Coolin') (Video Premiere)

Swizz Beatz has premiered the video for his new single "Everyday (Coolin')" featuring Eve. I'm not a big fan of the track, but it's nice to see Eve back again. Hopefully she's working on releasing some new music. Now might be a good time, what with Nicki Minaj being the only one out there and re-opening the door for all the rap chicks in the game right now.

Adele performs on Graham Norton

The Queen of England amazing Adele has officially begun promo for her new single "Set Fire To The Rain", performing it on the Graham Norton show. Before the performance, Adele sat down for another hilarious interview. She seems so down to earth and when asked, talks about anything and everything. They talk about how well "21" is doing in the US, how she stalks all her exes girlfriends on facebook, and a story about how she accidentally flashed a bunch of people when a gust of wind blew up her poncho! She's pretty amazing in every way. Check out the interview and performance below.
